The perfect place for a week with a gang of friends
Our best ever villa stay
We have stayed in many villas in Italy, France and Spain and this one is the best. We shall return.
The Villa is Wonderful!
“The villa was wonderful! We had a lovely relaxing time in your amazing home. What a project it must have been to convert. It works so well for big families. The recommendations food wise from you (our favourite hobby) were spot on every time and were much appreciated.”

A very special place – we rate it as the best ever
The most amazing holiday. We loved the large swimming pool and different areas to relax in. We had a superb holiday; the area is so unspoilt. The villa is perfect; we rate it as the best ever.
A special location for a special celebration

We had a fantastic stay at il Trapetto for my mother’s 70th birthday.
We arrived on an early flight and were kindly allowed to stay by the pool while the villa was cleaned.
Once we had settled in, Ottavio visited the next day to book taxis for the trips we had planned. During our stay, he was responsive to our enquiries about local restaurants and beaches – he even arranged a pizza delivery for us!
The property was lovely, with well-appointed furnishings and a well-resourced kitchen. There was a generous amount of living and sleeping space for us all (9 adults and 4 children) and entertainment for kids like the table football was an added bonus. The limonetto was also a lovely place to have our evening meals. The pool was wonderful; we swam during the day and night.
Ostuni town itself was beautiful – perfect for just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. We had a lovely dinner (all 13 of us!) at Osteria del Tempo Perso which we booked well in advance and the gelati at Cremeria alla Scala were a big hit with the kids.
Puglia has everything: no other region in the Mediterranean can boast such amazing yet cheap food, as well as so many historic and fascinating towns, plus wonderful beaches and that ingredient which is so often missing: a warm welcome.
More Greek than Italian by nature, the Pugliese will immediately make you feel that you have been coming for years. Go to a restaurant twice, and you are an old friend.
